The Honda CD750 is a fun bike to ride, based on my limited experience riding, but it has a lot of power, is simple enough that I can work on it, and is old enough that it has some class to it that you won't find in a newer bike. Plus, it's pretty cheap compaired to most bikes out there. My brother has already gotten two somewhat workinging ones, and a friend of mine, Noah, has a fully working one. For these reasons, I decided to snag one. I got around on ebay and craigs list until I found one. The bid price was only 305 bucks to start, with 4 days left, but boy was it a nice bike! By the end of the auction it had gone up to $1,125 which I think is still a very good price for the bike. I am waiting to pick it up until this weekend, but in the mean time I have picked out some safety equiptment to go along with it.
I got a JMax helmet from a local store in the area, it has a DOT safety rating, but not the Snell one. Here's some pictures:

The helmet comes with an extra tinted faceplate, a spare LED light cover, and a helmet bag.
I really like the designs on the side.
The LEDs on the back have three modes, on, flashing slow and flashing fast.
There are 6 vents all ajustable on this helmet, five on teh top and one near the mouth. I love how agressive a look this helmet has.
I also picked up a set of gloves which have knuckle guards.
